Blackhawk Fans Cheer Stanley Cup Winners at Stoney Point Grill

Fans gathered to watch the 6th game in the Stanley Cup Series at Mokena's Stoney Point Grill.

With the Blackhawks playing the Bruins in the 6th game of the Stanley Cup series Monday, a mere line of thunderstorms sweeping through the Chicago Southland wasn't about to keep fans home.

The Blackhawks beat the Bruins 3-2 in the final seconds of the game, giving partygoers plenty to cheer about. And fans gathered at Stoney Point Grill, 19031 Old LaGrange Road in Mokena, were no different. The crowds got raucous in the final minutes 17 seconds when the Blackhawks tied the game and then scored again to win their second Stanley Cup in four years.

Mike Phillips of Chicago's Mt. Greenwood neighborhood and his friends came to Stoney Point for more than the drinks, food and big Screen TV. They were at Stoney Point when the Hawks won the last time, so they felt it was good luck to return for tonight's game.
