Old Plank Trail Community Banks Pant for the Pantry 5K Run/Walk

Old Plank Trail Community Bank is proud to host the 2nd Annual Pant for the Pantry 5K. The race will be held in midtown New Lenox with the start and finish line at Old Plank Trail Community Bank, 280 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox.

Old Plank Trail Community Bank’s Annual Pant for the Pantry 5K is held to assist our local food pantry. Currently, the food pantry is experiencing record level demand each week. The food pantry does not operate on tax dollars but solely on donations from our community. The demand at the local food pantries continues to grow and we feel fortunate to be in a position to make a difference. With over 300 race participants last year, we were able to collect a truckload of food with thousands of items and donate $10,000 to the New Lenox Township Food Pantry. With such success last year, our expectations for 2012 are sky high!
