STRIDES is a three mile charity walk co-sponsored by the students of Lincoln Way North High School and the Frankfort Lions Club. The walk is on Saturday, 22 October 2011 in the LW North field house. Registration begins at 8:00a.m. and kick off is at 9 a.m. Students are $5 and adults $10, tee shirts are an extra $15 donation. Saint James Hospital Diabetes educators will be there to answer questions about diabetes. The goal is to raise awareness about diabetes, and to make money toward diabetes research, and to send diabetic kids to camp.
