Summertime Stride 5K Run and Walk

Summertime Stride begins at 9 a.m. (rain or shine).

This is a USATF-certified 5K (3.1 mile) course and chip-timed run and fun walk followed by kid’s dashes, refreshments, entertainment and an awards ceremony. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the Vasculitis Foundation.

The run/walk is designed as an out and back course primarily on asphalt paths. Split times and markers will be available on the course as well as water stations.

Kid’s Dashes will begin approximately 10 a.m. from the start line. Distances and heats will vary by age. All Kid’s Dash participants will receive a ribbon and 1st place winners receive prizes.

After the Kid’s Dashes, the Awards Ceremony will begin and includes awards for the Best Overall Male and Female run winners, and the top three winners in each age category: 9 & under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.

Refreshments and entertainment will be available following the run/walk.

Day of event registration will be from 8-8:50 a.m. at Main Park. Cost is $25. Pre-registration by June 9, 5 p.m. costs $20.

Kids Dash (age 10 and under) registration costs $5 (does not include T-shirt).

Pre-registration accepted at www.mokenapark.com or www.signmeup.com by June 9. Mail-in registrations must be received by June 6. Sorry, no refunds.
