What Happened at the Varsity Football Games in the L-Way Communities?
Three of five high schools in the Lincoln-Way communities won the first game of the season Saturday, Chicago Tribune reports.

Of the five high schools in the Lincoln-Way communities, L-W East, L-W Central and L-W North were the victors. Providence Catholic and L-W West lost to their opponents, Chicago Tribune reports.
Game Scores:
- L-W East beat Carmel: 17-7
- L-W Central beat Sandburg: 26-21
- L-W North beat LaSalle-Peru: 47-7
- Providence Catholic lost to Joliet Catholic: 42-35
- L-W West lost to Sycamore: 34-21
