Neighbors Build Bridges of Friendship at Block Party (Photos)

The Bridges of Mokena subdivision held its second annual block party Saturday, Aug. 25, at . Organizers Erinn Lutkus, Jacque Connors and Jen Mitchell gathered the support of neighbors, local builders and businesses and received many generous donations. Close to 160 people attended.

Entertainment and food included two bounce-houses, games and prizes, face painting, arts and crafts, homemade cards for charity and a catered dinner. The brought a fire truck and fire fighters for the kids, and the shared in the fun, too.
