Excellent clean stables, awesome place for birthday parties! We went to a party here and then got hooked! Sure beats having my kid sit in front of video games all day and teaches responsibility.

Nova Quarter Horses is an amazing place for any child - both young and older. People can enjoy the most pleasurable riding at Nova and are given the opportunity for hands on experience with the horses. The people who work at Nova are about nothing but presenting the most positive and pleasant experiences to everyone who visits Nova Quarter Horses. My daughter, Rachel, who is now an 18 year old young woman has been taking lessons at Nova since she was an adorable little girl only 7 years old. She has virtually grown up at Nova, and Lorri (Nova's owner and horse trainer) is like my daughter's second mommy. Now, Rachel has a beautiful reiner quarterhorse mare. Lorri was the person who first noticed the "match made in heaven" and encouraged us to purchase this exquisite animal.
I personally encourage everyone who has a love for horses or who just wants to learn more about the horse world to stop by Nova. They have lessons for all levels, trail rides, birthday parties, group and other scouting events along with and many other fun nights out. - Celia
This is the most amazing horse back riding lessons place in all the south suburbs! My daughter Maya just started lessons there and is in LOVE with it! The stables are super clean, the horses well mannered and gentle, the indoor riding arena is the best in the state! She even just competed in her first horse-show they hosted and received ribbons and a trophy and couldn't be prouder of herself or her achievements in just 4 weeks of riding! She's had to buck up...at first trotting scared her and at 5 she was a bit taken back and afraid but they are considerate but firm with the lessons....and she was smiling ear to ear by the time the first one was over. The confidence level that riding inspired in her has basically turned her from being a bit of a cry baby to taking on challenges to now a girl with a can-do attitude! Amazing! I can't say enough about the place, the owner (Lori), trainers, Mike who saddles the horses and is so kind and sweet to Maya and lets her pet and help lead her horse out, to the front desk girl whose name I've forgotten but is such a great person and obviously in love with horses and super enthusiastic about everything horses. She explained how she felt she wasn't good at any sports and then found her passion at Nova Quarter Horses. Maya could relate, even at 5, she's not super fast soccer, baseball, etc. She excels here and her confidence level has gone thru the roof! Now it's "mommy, I want my own horsie" lol

My scathing review was deleted after a day or so. Shop around!!! I'm all for supporting local business but this place is not safe emotionally or physically for impressionable young kids.
