Smiles At the New Charter Fitness in Mokena
Charter Fitness opened this week in the Brookhaven Marketplace.
It's hard to get any smiles during a workout. Not so at the new Charter Fitness on Wednesday. While Charter Fitness personal trainer Tracy Carlson was keeping Mokena resident Linda Harty moving. Harty could not contain her happiness with the new Charter Fitness. " This place is so bright and open, says Harty. There are so many more machines, what's better is that I can hit the grocery store after working out." The first full day, Charter Fitness manager, Jason Zizzo was happy to show off what Charter Fitness is all about. " This facility is very embracing to the community, says Zizzo. Photos: Editors on 'Tour de Patch' Bring Giveaways, Games to Tinley Park
Green-clad men and women were spotted all around Tinley Park on Wednesday afternoon as Patch editors roamed the streets to pass out gifts galore.
Our Patch fans never cease to amaze us. You are enthusiastic, passionate and kind—everything we hope we are to you. Villagers' friendly traits were more obvious than ever Wednesday afternoon when all the Southland Patch editors descended on Tinley Park, blanketing the village with free goodies and secret contests. We handed out five gift cards to those who knew the secret word, "Zabrocki," and gave away almost 250 free T-shirts. Many of you got water bottles, magnets, balloons, coloring sheets and other Patchy schwag. We ask that you wear it proudly and spread the Patch word to your friends. We're here for you! Charter Fitness Coming to Mokena
The gym franchise is coming to Mokena later this summer, to a new location in Brookhaven Marketplace.
Break out the sweat pants and slap on your workout gear, there's a new Charter Fitness location coming to Mokena this summer. The Chicago company recently announced its latest location, which will be at 19816 La Grange Road, next to Brookhaven Marketplace. The 13,000-square-foot facility will feature strength training equipment, free weights, personal training and more. “We’re very happy to be opening Charter Fitness of Mokena and proud to be part of the community,” said Dan Collins, Charter Fitness' Director of Sales in the release. “Charter Fitness of Mokena is going to be a great place to get fit and healthy.
