Car Trouble: Mokena Police Blotter

Mokena Police Department reports, Dec. 30-31 • Vandals Flatten Tires • Shattered Window, Damaged Windshield.

SUNDAY, DEC. 30 Unknown persons flattened five tires on two different vehicles at 3:58 p.m. on the 19300 block of Thornham Lane. The damage occurred while the owner of the vehicles was on vacation. MONDAY, DEC. 31 Unknown persons broke the back window and damaged the windshield of a Dodge Ram at 11:24 a.m. on the 10200 block of W. 195th Street. Will County Sheriff's Office reports, Dec. 5-8 • Vandals Bring Christmas Train to a Halt • Underage Alcohol Possession in Frankfort • DUI, Speeding and Pot Possession in New Lenox.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 5 Unknown persons cut the power cord used to light a Christmas train in the front yard of a residence on the 100 block of Kalarama Drive in New Lenox. SATURDAY, DEC. 8 James F. Wilkens, 20, of the 20700 block of S. Ellen Lane in Frankfort, was arrested for improper lane usage and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor at the intersection of E. Colorado Avenue and S. La Grange Road in Frankfort. James P. Vogelsanger, 20, of the 12100 block of Blackthorne Ridge Drive in Mokena, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and possession of less than 30 grams of cannabis at the intersection of S. Country Lane and W. Laraway Road in New Lenox. Police report information is…
