A New Business Rolls into Town
Firestone Complete Auto Care hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Mokena store, the third new outlet in the Chicago area.
The new Firestone Complete Auto Care on 191st Street is the franchise's third new store in the Chicago area and the seventh in the Midwest. Firestone has brought 12 new jobs to town and aims to eventually fill 18 positions as business increases, said Joe Sarnosky, vice president of the company's Midwest zone, who attended a Sept. 17 ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication. Since opening Aug. 7, the store has been serving about 25 customers a day, he said, adding that Mokena is a hot spot in the metro market now. Firestone picked the spot at 9627 191st St. because of the growth and population base of the southwest suburbs, Sarnosky said.
