Change at the Helm for Frankfort Township Republicans

Cory Singer replaces Ed Ronkowski as the chairperson for the Frankfort Township Republicans.

Mokena's Ed Ronkowski gave up his position of chair of the Frankfort Township Republican organization on March 15.  Cory Singer, 40, of Frankfort, accepted the position, beginning March 26. Ronkowski, who served as Frankfort Township Republican chair for four years, said time demands forced a decision to step away from leadership in the township. He maintains his role as chair for the Will County Republicans. A retired attorney, Ronkowski said the volunteer position in Frankfort Township was too time-consuming. He was spending between four and eight hours a day in the job. Now he has more time to dedicate to the role of chair for the Will County Republicans. Ronkowski has headed the County Republican team for the last two years.   Singer, …

The change I want is for my township representatives is not to spend money like we manufacture it in the basement. Whether thru a salary or retirement payments, we have worked hard for our money. In this economy, I don't feel like they should be accruing our tax dollars so they can buy a $1.5 million retirement community for themselves and their cronies. And they paid cash. This gripes me to no …   more ›

Nella is one of the most honest and caring people running in any of these races. For anyone to suggest that she is manipulating the ballots or ballot boxes is asinine. Based on the results of 4/9, she won by enough votes that, even if it were remotely true, it wouldn't have mattered. Her resume and accomplishments speak for themselves. Unreal that you would say what you did above.   more ›
