Illinois State Police, headquartered in Chicago, has set an emergency plan in motion for dealing with the anticipated increase in traffic accidents during the current storm. According to the ISP alert system, "ISP District Chicago has activated the Emergency Snow Plan. All PDO (Property Damage Only) crashes should exchange information and report within 10 days."
