Lincoln-Way East Griffins Celebrate Prom at Prestwick Country Club

The Lincoln-Way East Griffins stepped out in style at 2013 prom. The prom dresses this year came in a variety of styles. They featured both sleek and princess designs. They sparkled and dazzled. The gentlemen were decked in tuxedos, sporting bow ties and traditional style. Some wore hats to top off the look. The attendees danced the night away at Prestwick Country Club in Frankfort. The Patch was there to share a few of their special memories. Check out our photo gallery and see just how far prom has come since the last millennium, when some of us graduated high school. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Get news alerts and Facebook updates from these Lincoln-Way Patch sites: New Lenox / Mokena / Frankfort Like …

Lincoln-Way East High School ranks among the top high schools in America, according to a ranking of public schools released Tuesday by U.S. News & World Report magazine. LW East — ranked 47th in Illinois and 1,264th in the United States — was the only south suburban high school to place in the magazine's annual report.
