Mobil Burglar Shatters Glass, Steals Cash and Cigarettes
The burglary took place just two days after Christmas.

The event occurred at 4:11 a.m. on Dec. 27 at the La Grange Road gas station, according to reports from the Mokena Police Department. $100, 12 packs of cigarettes and the bottom drawer of the store’s cash register were stolen, police report. Police initially responded to an alarm at the gas station. When they arrived, they found the north entrance glass door shattered. Video surveillance revealed that the burglar drove a dark Chevy Venture minivan and broke the glass with a sledgehammer before entering the business.
