Village Board Talks Commercial, Government Building Projects
The business community in Mokena is poised for growth in 2013, according to Trustee John Mazzorana.
Ground will break on multiple building projects in Mokena in the near future. The Mokena Village Board discussed upcoming development plans at a meeting Monday evening. Director of Economic and Community Development Alan Zordan said that construction on a new Meijer location at the intersection of Wolf Road and Lincoln Highway is likely to begin in the coming months.
