Mokena Man Nabbed for Battery Complaint: Police Blotter

The victim claims she was shoved hard in the hallway of an apartment building.

MONDAY, FEB. 4 Man shoves woman on suspicion of stealing Roy Mannor II, 33, of the 11200 block of W. 191st. Street, was arrested for battery after a woman from a neighboring apartment accused him of shoving her. According to the report, the victim was in the hallway of an apartment complex when she spotted Mannor. She said he pushed her into the wall. She told police "he ran toward her and accused her of stealing" items from his apartment the night before during a party.  Mannor told police that at about 8:15 a.m. the victim was walking into the apartment he shares with his girlfriend, when he encountered her. Car Reported Stolen: Mokena Police Blotter

Mokena police are investigating a stolen car report, and they earlier ticketed a Massachusetts man for a small amount of marijuana.

FRIDAY, FEB. 1 Possession of marijuana Conor Davidson, 19, Andover, MA, was stopped with his hazard lights on at 191st Street and Grotovsky Drive, when police noticed the vehicle. As police questioned the driver about the problem, he said he was out of gas. However, police noted that there was a smell of marijuana and found a small amount, less than 12 grams, in the car. He was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment. He posted a $750 I-Bond and was released. SUNDAY, FEB. 3 Stolen car A resident in the 10100 block of Kirkstone Way Court, reported a 2012 Ford Focus stolen. According to the report, police were called to the 10100 block of Cambridge Court, where the owner filed the complaint. She said the car had …

A Mokena woman stopped for traffic violations attempted to flee police. She was arrested for aggravated DUI and more.

A Mokena woman attempted to flee the scene on foot when police stopped her for traffic violations that led to charges of aggravated DUI and more. According to the Mokena police report, Krintin Lenart, 46, of the 19400 block of S. Wolf Road, was pulled over shortly after 11 p.m. Feb. 5. for turning east without a turn signal onto Parker Road off of Wolf Road. During the traffic stop, police said she got out of her car and ignored directives to get back in the vehicle. Stumbling, she attempted to walk away; however, police grabbed her arm. FRIDAY, JAN. 25 David W. Pollis Jr., 24, of the 18700 block of S. Tammy Drive, was arrested at 3:33 p.m. on the 10900 block of Front Street on an in-state warrant. Pollis turned himself in to the Mokena Police Department and posted $2,075 in cash as bond. Police issued a bond sheet and released him, pending a Feb. 26 court date in Joliet. Updated: 5:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 Javier R. Reyna was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, a felony, and criminal vehicle trespass, a misdemeanor, on Jan. 25. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Jan. 28. Leonardo David Reyna was charged with criminal vehicle trespass on Jan. 28. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the same day. WEDNESDAY, JAN. 2 Alexander E. LaCasse, 21, of the 9400 block of Elm Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct following an altercation at 1:06 p.m. at the intersection of 196th Street and S. La Grange Road. The charges were filed as the result of a traffic-related disagreement between LaCasse and another individual, who sustained leg injuries as a result of the incident.
