Man Killed in Plane Crash Identified

The president of a Minnesota aviation service business was in the plane that crashed in a Wilton Center field.

The man killed in the Tuesday afternoon plane crash in a Wilton Center field was the president of a Minnesota aviation service business. Larry Diffley, 74, was the sole occupant of the multi-engine Beech 58 that went down shortly after 2:30 p.m. Diffley operated Bemidji Aviation Services in Bemidji, MN. According to the company's website, Diffley and another man took over the business "with three employees, their own Cessna 150 and the three 150's already in place at Bemidji Aviation" in 1970. Diffley is listed as the company's president. Employees of Bemidji Aviation Services declined to give their names or much information about the crash Tuesday evening. According to Debbie Hypke, executive director of the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce, offered a video program as a forum for candidates running for office could speak openly about their respective campaigns. Manhattan Man in Fatal Car Accident Identified

Manhattan resident Jake Stevens, 22, died in a Frankfort Township car accident. New Lenox man Kevin Krohn was driving the vehicle, and police suspect alcohol was involved in the crash.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the fatal car accident that killed a Manhattan man Saturday while the driver, a New Lenox man, escaped.  The accident occurred about 3:45 a.m. Aug. 25 in Frankfort Township. The passenger, 22-year-old Jake Stevens of Manhattan, died as a result of burns.  Stevens was a passenger in a car driven by Kevin Krohn, 22, of New Lenox, when the vehicle went off the road and hit an obstruction. Alcohol, Xanax Contributed to Drowning Death of Woman at Sybaris

Will County Coroner's Office finally rules on the cause of death of the Oswego woman found dead in late July at the romantic getaway hotel. Police say no foul play.

Drowning was the cause of death of an Oswego woman found dead in late July in her pool suite at Frankfort's Sybaris hotel, said the chief deputy coroner for Will County.
