Red Paint Sprayed on Frankfort Cars: Will County Blotter

Will County police reports, April 12-15.

MONDAY, APRIL 15 Two cars were sprayed with red paint in Frankfort, according to reports. One happened in the 7300 block of West Braemar Lane. A 2007 BMW was spray painted on the wheels, windows and plates. Two garages in that same area also were hit. The other vehicle vandalized was a 2008 GMC Arcadia that was parked in the 19000 block of South Sophie Court. SATURDAY, MARCH 23 About 1,800 cartons of cigarettes and smoking accessories were stolen from Ameen Discount Corp., 7954 W. Lincoln Hwy., in Frankfort, according to a report. Sheriff's deputies heard an alarm going off. After investigating, deputies found a shattered window and the rear door open. About 40 cases of the smoking products were reported missing. TUESDAY, FEB. 26 Three residents reported that four cars were burgled on the 100 block of Michael Lane in New Lenox.
