Lincoln-Way North senior Mary Claire Vuckovich looks to finish her high school athletic career strong, but this year won't be her last time in front of an audience.
Recognize that diver at Lincoln-Way North in Frankfort? Perhaps you saw her in Cinderella or Guys and Dolls. Or maybe it was as Louisa von Trapp in The Sound of Music. That would be Mary Claire Vuckovich, a multi-talented—and very busy—student at North. While Vuckovich is excited about her final season for the Lincoln-Way North girls swimming and diving team, she’s also thrilled with the work she’s done with the Lincoln-Way North Madrigals. Whether on stage or performing acrobatics before landing in a pool, Vuckovich is ambitious. She doesn’t see herself diving in college, but she does plan on pursuing a musical theater career. Come out and see her perform at the pool before she comes to a stage near you.
